Description:
An equestrian portrait of Francis Asbury wearing a wide-brimmed hat, high-collared cape, and gaiters. His feet are in the stirrups, and he holds a Bible to his chest with his proper right hand, a finger marking a place in it. He holds the reins in his proper left hand. The horse's head is turned to the proper left and its tail is swishing. Reliefs of three maple leaves are clustered on top of the sculpture's base, behind the rear, proper right hoof. The sculpture is set in a mulched area, within a limestone and sandstone rectangle.
