Remarks:
A large portion of the funds donated by Michigan alumnus William Cook were spent on the construction of the four main sections of the Law Quadrangle, including the Law Club (1924), the John P. Cook Dorm (1930), the Legal Research Library (1931), and Hutchins Hall (1933). John Donnelly Company was responsible for the carvings on the Legal Research Library, and probably did the sculpture on the other buildings as well.
