Remarks:
Born in Virginia, Jul 14, 1813, the son of Patrick Anderson and Fanny (Chandler) Anderson. Lived in Leboanon, Tennessee, before moving to Nashville, where he was a wholesale dry goods merchant. First married Mary Shelby Johnson, the daughter of Col. Joseph Johnson. After her death in 1856, married Mr. Mary (Pleas) Richardson, the daughter of William Richardson of Alabama. He died on May 15, 1895 and is buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Nashville.
