Description:
A male tennis player stands as if about to hit a tennis ball, his proper right hand upheld holding a tennis racket, his proper left arm bent at the elbow. His proper left foot is arched and his proper right foot is raised off the ground. His head is turned up, looking at the racket. He wears a tennis outfit, including a collared shirt, shorts, and sneakers. The sculpture is mounted upon a square base with a slanted upper front containing three inscribed plaques, two (on the left and right) containing relief portrait busts. The left plaque depicts Allen B. Stowe in proper right profile, wearing glasses, collar, and tie. The right plaque depicts Rolla L. Anderson in proper left profile, wearing glasses and collar.
