    Description: 
    A seated woman's dress form, which looks like a torso and legs without a head, arms or feet. In the lap of the dress form rests the head of Alexander the Great. The sculpture rests on a square block base.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture is part of the Oppenheimer-Stein Sculpture Collection at Johnson County Community College. Funding was provided by Tony and Marti Oppenheimer of Leawood and the Jules and Doris Stein Foundation in Los Angeles. The sculpture was exhibited at the Nelson-Atkins Gallery (Kansas City, MO) in 1989. IAS files contain a press release from Johnson City Community College, Sept. 27, 1995; and a related article from Kansas City Star, May 5, 1995, pg. E-3.
