    Description:
Outdoor altar stands under a domed canopy with four supporting pillars and contains three sculpture groups and a sacristy. The Madonna and Child stand in the center. Both are robed and crowned. The Madonna holds a scepter in her proper right hand and cradles Christ in her proper left arm. St. John Bosco and St. Dominic Savio (depicted as a boy holding a book) stand to her left. St. Mary Mazzarello and Blessed Laura Vicuna stand on the right. St. Mary Mazzarello wears a nun's habit and her proper right hand is on her chest. Her proper left hand rests on the proper left elbow of a little girl, Blessed Laura Vicuna, who is praying. The three groups are flanked by painted angels on the back wall. The sacristy stands in front. It has a domed roof and is topped by a cross. Its door has relief elements which are representative of Mary. The entwined initials "A M" are encircled within a set of rosary beads and are topped with a crown. Reliefs of rose-filled vines border the sides of the door.
