Portrait of Ann McHenry Reider with tightly wound hair and ringlets falling to her shoulders. She wears an off-the-shoulder dress with a white inset at the top and a brooch. On her head she wears dark mantilla-like hat. Her left hand rests in her lap.

Remarks:
Ann McHenry Reider was born on Oct. 20, 1805 in Charlottesville, Dickson County, Tennessee, the daughter of Archibald and Katherine Ann (Todd) McHenry. On April 30, 1833 she married Jacob Reider. She died on Oct. 25, 1898.
