Scene in a living room with the artist and his family. Alzira, the artist's wife, is seated at left and holds a baby over a tub. The nanny is seated at center and holds the other baby on her lap. The artist is seated at right, turned from the viewer, and is seen sketching the bathtime scene. The babies are their twins, Mike and Bill.
