Mary N. Jones, the daughter of Samuel and Ozzima (Stone) Jones, was born Feb. 20, 1820, most likely in Shoreham, Vermont. Her father was among the early settlers of Shoreham. She and her sister remained in Shoreham, living together until Mary's death on Nov. 12, 1883.
