Lydia Bill Howland was the daughter of Ephraim Bill of Norwich, Connecticut and Lydia Huntington. She was born 7 July 1753; married Joseph Howland; and died 1 May 1838. She was buried originally in the New York Marble Cemetery and was later moved to Green-Wood Cemetery.
