They are all standing and John Patrick is in the middle. Virginia is on the right and she is resting her proper right hand on the boy's shoulder. The youngest girl on the left, Mattie Lee, is holding a basket in her proper left hand. Both girls are dressed alike, wearing matching white dresses with necklaces and are holding flowers in their hands. John Patrick is wearing a dark jacket. His proper left hand is behind Virginia's back and he is holding something in his proper right hand.
