Sculpture depicts vegetation and artifacts particular to the Midwest such as corn, wheat, sunflowers, a windmill, tractor part, sickle bar and a rake. A triangular canopy of maple and bloodroot leaves sits atop sheets of metal representing lakes and streams. On two sides of the canopy, 18 inch ears of corn and wheat span a diamond-shaped cast rope. A sickle bar and a river vertically project through the canopy. A triangle fence visually bisects the sides of the triangular leaf canopy, and a windmill and sunflowers form the base elements.
