Description:
Two mythical figures mounted on a curved native stone wall. Saturnus, God of Seedtime and Harvest, stands with proper left leg bent and proper left foot forward. Saturnus holds a sheaf of wheat in his proper right hand. Daphne, a nymph, the other figure, stands with her proper right knee bent. She holds draped material over her proper right shoulder with her proper right hand. The material also drapes around her waist.

Remarks:
The figures were purchased in Italy by J. C. Nichols. Originally there were three figures but the third figure disappeared around 1979 and has never been replaced.
