Medium:  Mixed media, including glass, mirror, book pages, illustrations, eggs, nesting material, wire, and shells. Dimensions:  12 1/2 x 9 15/16 x 4 3/8 in. (31.8 x 25.2 x 11.1 cm.). Inscription:  signed Description:  Box construction with hinged door (mirror on exteror). Hinged door is covered with collage fragments of book pages and illustrations on the theme of Paul et Virginie. The box contains a eggs and nesting material visible through a circular opening and surrounded by sixteen small empty boxes (six on each side and four across the top. The compartment aboveis sealedwith deep turquoise glass, behind which appear aquatic forms and shells.
