    Description: 
    Floating among the clouds are the figure of Thomson playing the piano at lower right, a chained yellow lion on a circular red rug, a theatrical mask, a miniature stage, and several birds. The names of St. Virgil, St. Gertrude, St. Therese, and St. Ignatius appear, from left to right, as well as "1930" and "Florine St." The painting serves as an allegory for the sitter's opera, "Four Saints in Three Acts."
