Description:
Full-length representation of the cartoon character Dinny the Dinosaur from the Alley Oop comic strip. The dinosaur stands on all four legs, its head stretched out in front and a long tail lying on the ground. The back and tail are lined with upright triangular scales. The gray concrete and steel sculpture stands on a low concrete and steel base.

Remarks:
The sculpture is a representation of the cartoon character Dinny which was created by Hamlin. The sculpture was installed at the Alley Oop Fantasy Land in Iraan and was fabricated by Ayers with the help of local volunteers from the town. IAS files contain copy of related article from Electric Times (West Texas Utilities Company), June 1965.
