    Description: 
    Standing figure of Jose Gaspar, wearing an eighteenth century pirate costume, including cape, sash, triangular hat with skull and crossbones and cuffed boots. His proper left hand is on his hip and he holds a sword in his proper right hand. He stands in front of a treasure chest.

    Remarks: 
    Regency Cove Trailer Park was once the Guernsey City Mobile Home Retirement Village. Known as the Gasparilla, Jose Gaspar is a legendary figure who is said to be a pirate of the Spanish Main who invaded Tampa. This is reportedly the only monument in the world to a pirate. It is illuminated at night.
