The fabled "fiddler on the roof" dances on a roof, playing his violin. He is balanced on the toes of his proper left foot, his proper right leg raised and bent. With his proper left arm extended in front of him, he holds a violin under his bearded chin, a bow in his proper right hand ready to strike the strings. He wears 1800s style clothing, including a thigh-length jacket, knickers, a cap, and a Jewish prayer shawl. The figure and house are mounted upon a hexagonal-shaped concrete base that is surrounded by plantings and a low fence. Music from "Fiddler on the Roof" projects from the base.
