    Snow-covered farm landscape with a log farmhouse on the left, stables and barn to the rear, and mountains in the background. In the foreground a woman carries water from a well beside the house, a man chops wood in front of the house while a child plays nearby, another child plays with a dog and a sled, and a man walks in the snow on the right. In the background a horse-drawn sleigh comes up over the hill near the barn.
