Description:
Three portrait heads of Juneau city founders set against a landscape backdrop. The three men portrayed are Joseph Juneau (left), Chief Kowee (center), and Richard Harris (right). Landscape behind portrays Mt. Juneau, Gold Creek Basin, and Mt. Roberts; mountains are tinted white to suggest snow. Heads are cast from a concrete (?) aggregate; landscape elements are made of fiberglass. Sculpture is mounted to an exterior wall. Above sculpture, on wall, eight stars are painted, outlining the Big Dipper and the North Star.
