    Farm landscape depicting a haying scene in the foreground and farm buildings in the background. In the foreground three farm workers rake the hay, while another pitches into a ox-drawn wagon, and another stands on top of the wagon, packing down the hay. All around them there are small piles of hay. Behind the field there is a fence with a farmhouse and farm buildings just behind. In the distance there are mountains dotted with trees.
