    Description: 
    Two vertical elements bridged at the top by a broken arch. Two thirds of the way up is a circular sun-shape supported on each side by a lead-covered curved wedge-shape. One third of the way up is an array of three hooked-shapes spanning the skewed verticals. The sculpture is supported by a concrete base which is located in the middle of a hexagonal brick planter. The sculpture is painted blue, green, and red. The sun disk-shape is metal-plated and reflects a rainbow of colors.

    Remarks: 
    Sculpture commissioned by Arkansas College and funded by Citizens Bank. Dona Shaw was artist-in-residence at the College when the piece was commissioned. Art professor, George Chlebak, his sculpture class, and maintenance worker Mike Foote helped to install the sculpture. Inscription on marker on south surface of planting area reads: OPEN STELE/BY D. E. SHAW/DONATED BY/CITIZENS BANK/1991.
