    Description: 
    Abstract figure grouping of four nude children ranging in age from 9 to 14. The children all stand facing in separate directions; their backs merging together into one block of granite. The shortest child, a girl, is in front. On the proper left side is an adolescent girl; on the proper right side is an adolescent boy. In the back is a young boy. The granite sculpture stands on a low, square concrete base.

    The sculpture was commissioned by Dr. Ursula Sanders, who paid for preliminary designs and was instrumental in raising funds and gaining approval for the sculpture. The sculpture is dedicated to the memory of deceased children of physicians. IAS files contain copy of related excerpt from Concord Monitor, Aug. 2, 1986.
