Inscription:  (On threshold of crypt doorway, raised:) DAISY/WILLIAMS (Lower proper left, raised:) OF/SWEETBRIAR/VIRGINIA (Upper proper left, above door, raised:) SEP.10/1867 Jan.22/1884/IN HER/17TH YEAR unsigned Description:  The inscribed base of a gravemarker for Daisy Williams that includes a crypt door with a fringed shawl draping it. To the right of the door are ornately carved lilies and leaves, with a lantern nearby. Monument was originally the base for her gravemarker, the statue of which was broken off sometime after it was moved to the top of Cemetery Hill, where her parents are also buried.
