    Description: 
    Environmental sculpture consists of eleven amorphous and geometric pieces. It was designed for all the senses with an emphasis on touch and hearing. The hearing dimension is conveyed by the placement of the forms in relation to the sounds of a nearby river. Eight of the pieces are isolated from the rest of the park by earthworks on all sides. The remaining three are grouped together.

    Remarks: 
    This memorial acknowledges the contributions of the Lake County Metropolitan Park District's Chief Naturalist Donald Strock and his wife Luana. It is part of the "Trail for all People" at the Lake Shore Reservation. There is a bronze maquette of the overall sculpture inlayed in stone, located at the southeast side of the plaza. IAS files include a citation to the Painesville Telegraph, Oct. 28, 1978.
