Two angels emerging out of a rock. Both wear long flowing garments that cover their heads. They face each other and extend hands to reach across the rock.

Remarks:
The $5,000 monument is a grave marker for Winfield Scott Stratton, the city's first gold millionaire and was erected by his heirs. The artist, Nellie Walker, was visiting Colorado Springs at the time of Stratton's death and was commissioned to design the monument.
