    Remarks: 
    The $5,000 monument is a grave marker for Winfield Scott Stratton, the city's first gold millionaire and was erected by his heirs. The artist, Nellie Walker, was visiting Colorado Springs at the time of Stratton's death and was commissioned to design the monument.
