    Commissioned by the families of sisters Helen Meisner Sohn and Dorothy Meisner Ohlinger in their memory as a gift to the library. The sculpture was funded by the family and through private donations. IAS files contain a related article from the New Advertiser, July 27, 1985 and a proposal for the gift by Charles Sohn and Howard Sohn.
