Description:
A female fox and three young foxes are in resting positions. The sculpture is mounted on a short stone base set in front of a stone wall within a landscaped planting bed.

Remarks:
The sculpture is one of an edition of three. The sculpture was commissioned by Cincinnati Nature Center trustee, Louise Head, to honor the founder, Stanley M. Rowe, Sr., on his eightieth birthday. Plaque on stone wall behind sculpture reads: DEDICATED TO/STANLEY M. ROWE, SR./FOUNDER. In 1992, a bolt holding one of the foxes to the base was replaced.
