After his death, the Arts Commission of Greater Toledo commissioned this outdoor sculpture as a tribute to Mr. Richards in honor of his extensive contribution to the Toledo community. The artist created in the sculpture in her New York studio and then installed it in Toledo with help from her husband, Bill Gordy.
