Mourning picture of a hilly landscape with a large willow tree at each side, a young woman in flowing robes kneels beside an altar that bears the inscription: "In Memory of/Maria L. Peasley/Died February 8th 1815." To the left are benches which bear the following inscriptions: "Samuel Barnard, 1791/Mehetable Barnard, 1793," "Simeon Peasley, July 1802/Hannah Peasley, March 1818."
