Description:
An upright tree trunk with broken limbs and textured surface to suggest bark. Five of the tree's limbs are stubs, but the sixth hangs diagonally to the right across the front of the sculpture. Below the hanging limb is a stub with a basket of flowers hanging from it. Next to the basket a swath of bark has been peeled down against the tree. Near the ground is a shelf, with a stack of two books, lying flat; and a relief of a flower pot, with a lily and two large leaves. Clinging ivy spirals around the tree trunk; and atop the trunk is a small bird.
