Remarks:
The sculpture was created in honor of A. Holly Patterson on the occasion of his induction into the Long Island Hall of Fame. Patterson, was the founder and sponsor of Nassau Community College and the A. Holly Patterson Home for the Aged, and served as Nassau County Executive, and also as Chairman of the Long Island State Parks and Recreation Commission.
