Description:
A tall, dark grey marble obelisk is adorned on the front and back with engravings of two crossed flags. At the foot of the obelisk is a marble block, the front and back of which are engraved with a relief depicting a pile of cannon balls, two crossed flags, and two crossed rifles with bayonets. The east and west sides of the block bear biographical inscriptions for the Eglestons and Patersons. Just below the marble block is a relief of two crossed swords.
