A bronze lion, lying down with head up, on a base of stone blocks. Water pours from the lion's mouth into stone basin.

The artist made the sculpture in memory of her father, Rev. John W. Nevin, the President of Franklin and Marshall. Four brass name plates are placed around the iron fence surrounding the fountain basin. Names are: Lindley Murray, Benjamin West, James Bachman, and Robert Fulton (and two additional names --one is illegible and one is now missing).
