Murphy,/whose entrepreneurial spirit inspired/the establishment of this campus. Description:  Figurative sculpture of a blindfolded man chiseling himself out of a stone. The figure is nude and can be seen from the legs up. His upraised proper right hand holds the hammer with which he is about to strike a blow. The base is octagonal.
