    Description: 
    Gravemarker for Elizabeth P. Merrit, 1872-1896. A woman stands barefoot, dressed in a short-sleeved, classical gown with her hair pulled back and up. Her proper right hand is raised to her chest, while her proper left hand touches an anchor decorated with a string of flowers that stands upright by her side. The sculpture is mounted upon an inscribed, multitiered base with a wreath on the upper front section.
