    Remarks: 
    The painting was done in tribute to friends of the artist --two brothers, Alty and Donna Mason--who drowned at sea in a rainstorm. The female figure in the center probably represents their sister, Alice Mason, known for her domestic chores. The composition alludes to angels supporting Christ.
