    Remarks:
The angels top the former tomb of Mother Lurana. They commemorate an apparition at Graymoor in which four angels appeared to a novice and repeated the name "Lurana" three times. Mother Lurana designed the angels and they were carved in Italy. They are in memoriam of Sister Mary Anna, Bernard F. M. Manus, Rose Stephens, and Serathina Camble. They were blessed by Father Paul on July 29, 1922, during the Feast of Our Lady of Atonement. At the time, the site was known as Our Lady of the Atonement Shrine. IAS files contain an excerpt from Father Fred Alvarez' "Historical Sites of Graymoor, Friars of the Atonement," pg. 201-202. IAS image contain image on only some of the angels.
