    Description: 
    A classical female figure dressed in long drapery kneels beside a seated child, embracing the child with her proper right arm around the child's waist. The female figure's head is bowed in grief and her proper left hand is raised to her cover her face. The child reaches up to comfort the grieving female figure. The sculpture rests on a square base which rests on a low step.
