    Remarks:
The fountain was funded by a grant from U. S. Dept. of Interior and a bequest of William Lee Luxton, Idaho Falls. Luxton's will earmarked $10,000 for capital improvement in Tautphaus Park, in honor of his father and mother -- William and Tillie Luxton. In 1972, a grant was awarded for the East Tautphaus Park project. Included was money to install the fountain and bring in power for its operation, as well as to develop the acreage. The project cost $90,000. The City of Idaho Falls and the U.S. Dept. of Interior, Bureaus of Outdoor Recreation, and Bureau of Reclamation, Land, and Water Conservation, each provided $45,000.
