    Remarks:
The monument was originally intended for Joseph Bond, who was interred in Macon, Georgia's Rose Cemetery in 1859. It had been sent from Italy and was confiscated by Union troops in Louisville. When it could not be sent on to Georgia, Muldoon set it up on his father-in-law's lot and ordered a duplicate for Bond after the war. IAS files contain related article from Samuel W.
