Description:
Aeolian wind harp made of stainless steel and aluminum. A tall curved mast, sloping back and upward, holds the strings vertically. The strings pass through a metal sounding board. Metal bars are suspended via rods off the bottom of the sounding board. The sounds produced by the strings are wind activated. The sculpture stands on a concrete base.

Remarks:
The sculpture was commissioned by Sheldon and Marian Leavitt, the parents of David Ari Leavitt, a former student at Norfolk Academy who was killed in an automobile accident. IAS files contain copy of artist's statement.
