    Description: 
    A young girl sits holding a wreath of roses and daisies in her proper left hand; her proper right hand held up to her cheek. Her hair is tied back in a bow. She is barefoot and wears a long dress. A sun bonnet lies by her feet. The sculpture is mounted on a tiered, rectangular base and set in front of four family headstones. The sculpture was originally encircled by a low fence.

    The sculpture was installed by Julia Juvland in memory of her husband Ole, and three children, Thuna Irene, Susie Leola and a baby boy who died a few hours after birth. Nearby headstones read: OLE JUVLAND/APR 25, 1861/NOV 10, 1901 THUNA IRENE/BORN/JUNE 8, 1897/DIED/AUG 18, 1899 SUSIE LEOLA/BON (sic)/JAN 28, 1893/DIED/NOV 26, 1901 OUR/BABY. IAS files contain a related articles from the Worthington Daily Globe, including one dated Aug. 29, 1981.
