    Description: 
    A tall granite obelisk rises out of an elaborately carved, stepped base. The base has pediments and carved columns on all four sides. On the front of the base is a niche. Inside the niche is a bronze portrait bust of Erastus Edgerton. He has a beard and wears a suit jacket and cravat. The granite memorial stands on a fieldstone support.
