Inscription:  (On top of base, in raised letters:) LOVE IS UNDERSTANDING To the Children of St. Louis from Chris & All Who Loved Him unsigned Description:  Three ellipse-shaped forms, one inside the other, made of cast animal and insect reliefs joined together by brazing. Open spaces between animal reliefs. Sculpture is mounted on conical brick base rising from plaza, surrounded by three drinking fountains.
