    Description: 
    A welded Cor-Ten steel, abstract sculpture of interlocking rectilinear shapes with some triangular blocks creating a spherical form. The sculpture has three contact points with the brick plaza upon which it rests.

    Remarks: 
    The sculpture cost $15,000 and was a gift as part of the square renovation project from Velma Fulbright Swyers (Mrs. Monroe Swyers). The sculpture is in memory of her father, Dr. J. Harve Fulbright, a member of a pioneer family of Springfield. Fabricator David Brown assisted the artist, and Lawrence Halprin and Associates, landscape architects, acted as consultants to the Downtown Springfield Association.
