Two women wearing long garments are seated atop a monument. The monument stands on a two-tiered base. An Ionic column at each corner supports the cornice, which is topped by the two-tiered form on which the women sit. One woman appears to be seated on a chair or bench. The other woman sits on the "ground" on the first woman's proper left side. There is a circular crown and cross relief above the cornice. Two smaller gravestones in front of the monument bear the names "Sarah" and "Michael."
