Remarks:
The memorial was erected by members of the American Legion Post 215 in honor of the only person from Nahant killed in the Vietnam War. IAS files contain a newspaper article from the Nahant Daily Evening Item, May 23, 1978 and an excerpt from the Nahant Town Report of 1978.
