(On left side:) Ellen Carter, / Widow of John Carter / and Daughter of William Marbury, / Died April 30, 1860. / Aged 58 years signed Description:  The memorial is a tall square marker carved in relief on each side with a pair of angel heads flanking a rose. The marker is topped with an ornamental urn.
