    Description: 
    A man, his daughter and pet dog are seated on a rock overlooking the Tittabawassee River. Both figures are barefoot. The man wears rolled-up jeans and a plain shirt. The little girl wears overalls and short-sleeved shirt. Her hair is in a short bob. Her proper right hand rests on the reclining dog's head and she leans on her father's proper right arm.

    Remarks: 
    A gift of Dow Chemical Company, the sculpture was erected in memory of Bob G. Caldwell, a General Manager at Dow's Michigan Division and an outdoor enthusiast. He drowned in a boating accident in 1984. IAS files contain a related article from the Midland Daily News, May 15, 1986.
